Blue Ribbon Committee
The Blue Ribbon Committee was created to develop a road map to the future via the Career and College Readiness Program. The program’s goal is to better prepare students for a seamless transition to post-secondary opportunities by providing rigorous, high-quality, integrated academic challenges and pre-professional experiences, and planning a sequence of courses designed to result in graduates who are college and workforce ready.
Community Engagement Committee
The mission of the Community Engagement Committee is to provide venues to showcase La Porte ISD students, educators and the Foundation.

Finance Committee
The mission of the Finance Committee is to use sound judgment to maximize earning capacity, protecting the endowment for the benefit of funding innovative, creative instructional projects for students and teachers in La Porte ISD schools.

Friends of the Foundation Committee
The mission of the Friends of the Foundation Committee is to engage community members who wish to volunteer and assist the foundation in its endeavors.

The mission of the Fundraising Committee is to develop and implement policies and procedures for soliciting funds to support the foundation’s endowment and programs pursuant to long- and short-term goals established by the Board of Directors.

Governance Committee
The mission of the Governance Committee is to oversee board development for the Foundation encompassing policy, strategic planning and committee responsibilities.

The mission of the Program Allocations Committee is to manage the process for selecting teachers with innovative, creative instructional projects and selecting the student recipients for scholarships.

Programs Committee
The Programs Committee is charged with administering the School Site Grants and Scholarship Administration programs. These programs emphasize the Foundation’s mission to enrich and maximize the quality of education in the La Porte schools.

The mission of the Publicity Committee is to promote LPEF to potential donors, the community, students and teachers by developing and implementing plans that increase interest in and awareness of Foundation programs and activities.
