Monies gifted to LPEF in the form of specific endowments with designated restrictive use will be managed in separate accounts. These funds are to be invested in certificates of deposits of less than one year, U.S. government securities, money market funds or cash in a savings account.
The endowment donor may direct these funds to be used in the following ways:
1) Grants to LPISD teachers or schools selected by the Foundation.
2) Scholarships for La Porte High School seniors based on criteria specified by the donor.
3) Teacher enrichment programs chosen by a committee selected by LPEF.
4) Special programs administered by LPEF.
