2011-2012 LPEF Grant Recipients

Teachers received the news that they had received an LPEF grant during the annual Dollar Patrol on Nov. 17. "For the past 18 years, the La Porte Education Foundation had had a significant impact on the development of innovative educational programs and new approaches to teaching in the La Porte ISD elementary, middle and high school classrooms," explains Bob Murphy, LPEF vice president of allocations. "I feel confident that the 94 grants we awarded for 2011-2012 will benefit students in the very near future."
